Members of K-State’s Ahearn Fund responded in record fashion as athletic department officials announced that the September 17 Ahearn Fund Member Appreciation Day and Steak Fry sold out.
A record 1,500 Ahearn Fund members attended the event prior to the Kent State football game, once again demonstrating the unrivaled passion and commitment of K-State fans and supporters
Due to the record number of attendees, the event was extended from 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. and was held on the football practice field south of Cat Town, behind Brandeberry Indoor Complex. Fans packed the area for food, music and fun leading up to the big win by K-State on the field.
