What does it mean to you to be a student-athlete at K-State?
Being a K-State student-athlete is shaping me into a well-rounded person. We are pushed academically as well as athletically. Being held to a higher standard improves our leadership skills and sets us up for a successful future.
How have you benefited from the support shown by K-State fans and members of the Ahearn Fund?
I am so grateful for the Ahearn Fund and their contributors. Scholarships, gear, and facilities have greatly contributed to the success of my team.
How did you benefit from the support shown by K-State fans and members of the Ahearn Fund?
I was able to pursue my goals to be in the medical field while I played a sport I am very passionate about! I was also able to gain valuable life lessons that really have prepared me to be who I am today. The fans of K-State are truly special! The Wildcat nation is like no other fan base in the nation and we are so lucky to have their continued support over the years! I love to see this fan base continually grow and I know my children will grow up to be huge K-State fans for life!!! It truly is a tradition that is passed down generation to generation and I am so proud to be a part of that!
What does it mean to you to be a coach at K-State?
It is a dream to come true to be able to do what I love to do, at the highest level…and to be able to do it right here at home.
How has your program benefited from the grass-roots support shown by K-State fans and members of the Ahearn Fund?
With the rising cost of education, the support to provide scholarships, resources and all things necessary to compete in the Big 12 has allowed our program to continue to provide a world class experience for our student-athletes.
