What does it mean to you to be a student athlete at K-State?
I am very proud to be a part of the great athletic programs at K-State.  The community is more than supportive of every Wildcat student-athlete.

How have you benefited from the support shown by K-State fans and members of the Ahearn Fund?
Members of the Ahearn Fund are providing me the opportunity to receive an athletic scholarship, while playing the sport I love.  My teammates and I are all very fortunate to have this opportunity, and we hope to continue our successes both on and off the golf course!

Former Student Athlete:

What did it mean to you to be a student-athlete at K-State?
Being a K-State student-athlete was absolutely one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I was so honored to be able to represent such an outstanding university not only on the court but of the court as well.

How did you benefit from the support shown by K-State fans and members of the Ahearn Fund?
I benefitted from supporters by being able to receive a great education and an outstanding experience in athletics. Their support directly impacted my success through college and where I am today. I couldn’t thank every fan or member of the Ahearn Fund enough for how they directly impacted my life.

Coach:

Cliff Rovelto, Track & Field Head Coach
Seasons at K-State: 18th Year

Cliff Rovelto, T&F

What does it mean to you to be a coach at K-State?
It is very rare in our sport for a coach to be at a university for 24 years.  I feel very honored to have had the chance to coach at K-State.  I have been very fortunate to work with a wonderful group of student-athletes during my time here.

How has your program benefited from the grass-roots support shown by K-State fans and members of the Ahearn Fund?
Our program, like every other program here at K-State, is largely funded by the generous support of our alumni.  Without this support we could not operate at our current levels.  We strive to provide our student-athletes the opportunity to compete at the highest levels and we need the support of each and every one of our donors in order to make this happen.
