Thank you for your support of K-State Athletics! I continue to be astounded by the generosity of the K-State family, and your commitment to helping achieve the Vision of A Model Intercollegiate Athletics Program

From facility improvements to enhancing travel and recruiting budgets for all 16 K-State programs, we are as committed as you to ensuring that we continue to strive for championship performances in the classroom and in competition.

In the classroom, with the No. 1 all-sport graduation rate in the Big 12 for four of the last seven years, the Wildcats saw 78 current or former student-athletes earn degrees in 2013-14 while a total of 260 earned Big 12 Commissioner’s honor roll accolades this past fall, the most since 2008. K-State student-athletes also exceled in the spring as 257 earned Big 12 Commissioner’s honor roll accolades, while a total of 103 earned cumulative 4.0 GPAs for both the fall and spring. In addition, a total of 101 Wildcat student-athletes earned Academic All-Big 12 recognition in all sports during the 2013-14 athletic season, while Allison Dorau from women’s rowing, men’s golfer Daniel Wood, and for the second year in a row, Petra Niedermayerova from women’s tennis, all earned the Big 12 Scholar Athlete of the Year award in their respective sports.

On the field, K-State saw 21 student-athletes earn All-American recognition, in addition to 11 Big 12 individual champions. As K-State fans continue to show their support, Wildcat football season tickets were sold out for all seven games during the 2014 season, continuing our consecutive sellout streak to 20 games. Also, both the men’s & women’s outdoor track teams are coming off a strong year, as both teams finished in the top 20 for the first time since 2011.

This is all possible due to your continued support of K-State Athletics and the Ahearn Fund.  Your gifts and record ticket purchases comprise the largest source of revenue for the athletics department and the unrestricted dollars given by more than 10,000 members of the Ahearn Fund are the life-blood of K-State Athletics.

We look forward to another successful athletics season, and with your support, continue achieving our goal of providing A World-Class Student-Athlete Experience.

Go 'Cats!
